Well, it really depends on your age and on whether or not you’re applying for the first time. Here’s a list of fees you have to pay to get a U.S. passport, according to age and application status (first time or renewing):

Adults (ages 16 and up)
First-time Applicants: To get an adult passport book, you’ll have to pay an application fee and an execution fee. A typical application fee costs $95, while the execution fee costs $ 25.
Renewals: If you’re renewing your passport, you’ll have to pay a renewal fee for $75.
Minor Applicants (ages 15 and below)
First-time Applicants: Like the adults, minors also have to pay an application and execution fee to get their U.S. passports. The application fee for minors costs $60, while the execution fee costs $25.
Keep in mind that all first-time applicants, whether adult or minor, must appear in person at a Passport Agency, Acceptance Facility, U.S. Embassy or Consulate. Also make sure that you know the special requirements for minor applicants.
